Hybrid interconnector projects
The Energy White Paper, Powering our Net Zero Future (CP 337), published in December 2020 by HM Government, defines hybrid interconnector projects as: ‘Projects that combine electricity generation with the ability to feed electricity to two (or more) different markets. For example, an offshore wind project that has multiple connections and is able to provide electricity to both the UK market and to European markets.’
